It's the worst. The menus are near impossible to navigate, my new Xbox wireless controller works only the A and B buttons, options are lousy, and there is NO manual of any kind. The graphics are pretty but the game is mind boggling impossible to navigate. It's nearly impossible to find anything I need inside this game. I never really enjoyed them and always ended up wondering what I was missing with MLB: The Show. Last year, I finally gave in and bought a PS3 with MLB: The Show '11. I immediately noticed an improvement over the 2K series and vowed to never go back to an MLB 2K game again. Over the last year, I've gotten a decent gaming PC and gravitated away from my console games. When I noticed Amazon had MLB 2K12 for download for under $30, I figured I'd give it a shot. Boy am I glad I did!The game is alot of fun, from pitching to hitting. The PC version looks great with crisp graphics and realistic animations, and has over 80 hours of new commentary featuring Gary Thorne, Steve Phillips & John Kruk I haven't tried online play, and doubt I ever will, so I can't speak to how well that portion of the game works, but there are plenty of other game modes to keep me occupied. Much of the positives can be found with the other reviews so I won't bother mentioning them, but if you're looking for an online experience, prepare to be underwhelmed. It is largely unsupported, and it isn't very clear what or how some functions online work. You can't talk to or message players, see any games in progress, and it isn't very clear how you're supposed to play ranked matches. You can believe on a platform like Xbox 360, they won't have this problem for obvious reasons, so it's pretty damning that if you want to have enough people to play with online, you're going to have to go with the 360.
