I had the same similar error message for both games, but the actual solution for each was different: The problem I had was that when I entered my information (existing account), I got a generic "We're sorry, an error has occurred." message. After multiple exchanges with both Amazon and EA technical support - here was the solution: For Dragon Age: Download and install the Origin client and use that to activate the game. It will detect that it is already installed. (same goes for Dragon Age II). Once the game is activated, and you run it at least once, you can uninstall the Origin client. If you uninstall the "EA: Shared Component Game Activation" you will have to re-activate the game. For Dragon Age II: Even though you can create an account... I put well over 80 hours into Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition. Second game is not as good in my opinion but still worth giving a look if you're into the lore.Origins terms of service are pretty broad and it gets me a little leary thinking about the nefarious things they could do that still doesn't detract (for me anyway) the awesome value of this bundle. |
