This review is from: FIFA Soccer 11 [Download] (Software Download) I've played all versions of FIFA since FIFA 98. Each year the graphics and dynamics significantly improve. My major disappointment with this version is that the configuration of the commands on the keyboard is very strange, and apparently by a programming error no way to correct it. So I have a great game that can not be played to its full potential. I am really amazed with the changes they have made. The game looks so much realistic compared with any other previous version of FIFA. Graphics is just simply stunning, players look so much player, not only facial graphics even the playing styles match with real players. Gameplay is almost similar to FIfa 10 but new Personality Plus system, which sees players accurately reflect the on-pitch style of their real-life counterparts - Rooney, Anelka, Gerard et al are instantly recognizable makes it way better than fifa 10. Also the players have better control on the ball. Goalkeepers are better than previous version and you can also play as goalkeeper or any position you want in pro mode. Crosses are now more effective, whether that's a punt to the far post or a double-tapped lofted ball to the near one, and they're more often met with spectacular results. This review is from: FIFA Soccer 11 [Download] (Software Download) Having played Fifa 10 via DVD and experiencing variations in play quality (i.e. gameplay changes with different games), and not wanting to wait for Fifa 12, I decided to give the download version (rather than the DVD version) a try. Download time was barely 30min, and within minutes I was enjoying the game. It did not take me long to be familiar with the buttons (different keys used in Fifa 10). I also noticed that Fifa 11 had one issue that was apparent in Fifa 10. When making a pass downwards (or diagonally down), somehow the game does not detect that pass. It is as if the combination of the down button and the passing keys is not allowed. This problem was solved when I used a Apple USB keyboard (yes, Apple's USB keyboards are compatible with PCs, I currently use a Win7 64bit Sony Vaio Z) , and it too worked perfectly for Fifa 11. My slight disappointment is that some players (I am an avid Everton fan) are not updated but this will be a recurrent 'problem', with Moyes always looking...
