There's a lot going on in this game. The hints are in the form of ravens that are hidden in and out of the hidden object scenes. There are also hidden clovers; the goal is to collect 70 of them over the course of the game. In addition, pieces of objects that need to be combined to add tools to your inventory are scattered about. The hidden object scenes are not straightforward either as you have to poke around in a drawer or trunk within the scene to find some things, and some of the objects are not named but described in riddle form. In the previous two Midnight Mysteries I thought the mini-games were a little too easy, but they have definitely stepped it up with Devil. This is the first game I've encountered in awhile where some of the games were not only challenging, but I had to figure out how to play them in the first place... It is a good mixture of story, puzzles and hidden objects. I found the puzzles challenging, but not so challenging that I skipped them, though that is an option after a certain amount of time. It can be a little scary. I have an 11 year old that likes to play with me, but she thought this one was too scary. There are areas where a ghost, or a creepy devil face pops. There are also a lot of creepy ghost. I also liked that it was a good length. The graphics were good and it's one of those games that's not too hard and not too easy. Sharp (NM) - See all my reviews          = Fun:  This review is from: Pure Hidden [Download] (Software Download) Pure Hidden is an incredible potpourri of activities from a hidden object pop art collage of superman floating in a Las Vegas skyline, to a beautiful leafy scene full of diabolically hidden butterflies, to magnificent assemblies of Ukrainian eggs, to funny puzzles like connecting a series of water pipes, to creating your own artistic masterpiece with stencils and paints. Many of the mini-games are easy enough for kids but the hidden objects in cartoon like environments are incredibly hard to find ( 30 or more items) so a kid and an adult can play side by side with great mutual contentment and joy. There is no plot, you are not breaking a wicked curse, chasing a villain or finding an absent-minded professor's glasses. Each completed level adds flowers and fruit to a graceful tree, which you build as you go along. Pure Hidden is really one big activity box, highly original, visually stunning and just plain fun, even quirky, a gem for the young and young at heart! This review is from: Pure Hidden [Download] (Software Download) I was amazed at the quality of this game. The scenery is beautiful and the game is great! I've played several hidden object games, and this one is by far the best. It's not just the same scenes over and over again where you find the same objects. Each scene is completely different and the objects can sometimes be tough to find. Plus, there are other games mixed in along the way. There are mixed up photos to straighten up, broken pipe games, and other random puzzles. There is one "decorate your bathroom" game that pops up several times along the way where you just set out a candle or something else kind of random, but other than those, the game is great. There is no plot to the game, so there's no kooky "help the princess" or anything else, just some really great puzzles. Plus, this game wasn't super-short like some I've played. It is just an all-around great hidden object game. Play for 10 minutes at a time or play for hours. And Pure Hidden provies that something different. Through a series of hidden object and puzzle levels, players interact with scenes that are works of art. With a clear Asian influence, many of the scenes contain Asian objects, or works of Asian art. It's hard to adequately describe the scenes and objects presented, but I strongly recommend everyone who enjoys hidden object games try at least the free trial. This review is from: Ship Simulator Extremes [Download] (Software Download) I tried the trial version of this game and really enjoyed it. I purchased the game and have been trying to play it. The graphics are great, the program is very realistic in its response to commands. I am a retired U.S. Coast Guard Chief Bosn's Mate so I have experience in what to expect from throttle, rudder and bow thruster commands. My issue with this game is technical. I am operating a brand new Dell with a Intel I7 chip, 6GB of Ram, and a 1TB HD. I have a new video card on order to see if that will make the situation better. The installation was a problem, it finnally installed on the 4th attempt. This game loves to crash! I have to constantly save the game I am playing to make sure I don't lose any data. (What is funny is that the trial version did not crash at all! Go Figure?) The tech support forum is of very little help. I Love and Hate this game all at the same time! Posotive Points: 1. From Calm Seas too The great catagory 5 hurricane 2. From Very Cold Antartice too the Beautiful warm bora bora 3. A nice selection of ship "Container,Tanker,Ferry,Cruiser,Coast Guard ships ETC " 4. New dynamics and very realistic 5. Dover And Calias are in the same map :) 6. The w greenpeace ships have been added and those are the "Esperanza and RWIII" 7. Deployeble life boats and RIB's 8. New tourist, greenpeace missions and Core Level Negative points: 1. Pain to configure joy stick and missions are painfully long and boring.25% fun - 75% omg am i ever going to get there! I will say i own many sim games from Micro X gold to train and fighter jet sims and this game does run pretty smooth. Worth owning, but don't make plans for 2 days if you desire to make any progress in the game.
