I do not like the Simport feature much: it's buggy, and you can use quite a bit of Simtime only to have the tour not register at all. Worst to me, though, is how much money the Sims make. My level 10 singer can easily make 60k per week only working 3 days for 3 hours. This is completely off the scale considering what level 10 actors and musicians made before this expansion.On the plus side, there are a lot of items and some of them are quite fun. The dj booth, pool table, karaoke machine, juke boxes, photo booths,dance sphere, golf, and many other objects return. The new careers are pretty entertaining as well. I really like the new town, Twilight Shores. The social aspects are a new feature, but you can completely ignore those if you want. I was disappointed that I only got a few extra items for $10 more and there's really not much to do with Katy Perry in the game at all, except for giant fruit stage decorations.I'm relatively satisfied with the gameplay, but I am still disappointed that there wasn't more to show for the extra money I spent on this game. |
