I have the full game on windows 7 64 bit, and it works absolutely fine (better than fine actually). You wont find the top notch graphics here, or the best role-playing experience probably, but you will find an extremely addictive open world style medieval experience. The combat I personally prefer to any other first person medieval game Ive ever played, and the horse to horse combat is what oblivion should have been. If you have a desire to work your way from a nobody to the king of a faction by conquest and diplomacy, buy this game. Another side note, the game is incredibly easy to mod, and has a vibrant community and fan base. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By J. Windows 7 was great at first, then I increased game graphics and after instability I came back down to usable optimal greatness! Game goes on so long and is so good that playing for so long, sometimes I start losing it and have to stop. I have played non-stop for 48 hours at a time now about 5 times, I quit that though. Gotta keep your vassels (Lords) happy or they will defect on you, no more than -95 rating is recommended or account them corrupt and lose them, all the more for the rest, but you do need them to help you for group effort to overcome the other factions. I have played several video games and this is hands down the best, esp. if I have had sleep and in good mood. I first did tasks to help the big cities, found a cause to fight for a leige that was banished. She disgusted me after giving my... So I looked the specific error code up online (this will usually solve 95% of problems). In my case it was an NSIS error and their website listed a simple work around that solved the issue. Took less than two minutes.I'm still learning this game but so far the graphics are great and I'm running a relatively low end laptop (Turion II P540, 4 gigs RAM, ATI Radeon HD4250). If I run into problems I'll come back and update this review. |
